AUDI R10 TDI n.2
The Audi R10 TDI n.2 is the prototype with the driving Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish and Rinaldo Capello who participated in the 24 hours of Le Mans of 2009. The Audi after two years of victories, decides to continue another year with this model, despite the Peugeot 908 is a rising opponent and now ready for victory.
At the 24 hours of Le Mans 2008 they won Kristensen, McNish and Capello with the Audi R10 TDI n.2, exploiting the technical difficulties that hit the Peugeot and their experience in the crucial moments of the race. The Peugeot came second and third. During the season despite the participation in the ALMS and LMS, the three drivers did not win other races, but contributed to the victory of the constructors’ championship.
