AUDI R8 n.5
The Audi R8 n.5 is a prototype brought to the 24 hours of Le Mans 2004 by the Goh team. The Audi decided not to participate with an official team, but to give its sports cars to private teams, just one of these was the Japanese team.
Ara, Kristensen and Capello won 24 hours of Le Mans 2004 with the Audi R8 n.5. Thanks to their reliability the R8 obtained a hat-trick, in second place with 41 seconds of detachment came the Audi of the team, Sport UK Team Veloqx with Herbert, Davies and Smith, while in third place at 11 laps of the ADT Champion Racing Lehto, Werner and Pirro, the latter also won the 2004 American Le Mans Series Championship.
