The Ferrari 458 Italia n.51 is the winning car of the GTE PRO class in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014. After the victory of the world title GTE PRO of 2013, the AF Corse team tried to repeat itself and trying to win back Le Mans as in 2012.
Gianmaria Bruni, Toni Vilander and Giancarlo Fisichella won with the Ferrari 458 Italia n.51 in the GTE PRO class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2014, for the trio was the second success after the one in 2012.
In the race the Italian car exploits to the maximum the reduced fuel consumption, delaying the pit stops. At the end of the race the Ferrari detached the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R n.73 driven by Magnussen, Garcia, Taylor.
At the end of the season Bruni and Vilander also won the GTE PRO riders title thanks to the victories: 6 hours of Spa, 6 hours of the Fuji and 6 hours of Bahrain.
