The Mercedes F1 W08 Hybrid n.44 is the winning car of the Formula One World Championship in 2017. After three years of domination by the German team, the new year’s car sees new structural upgrades compared to the previous Mercedes F1 W07. With the Rosberg retreat, the team headed by Toto Wolff hires the Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas.

Lewis Hamilton driving the Mercedes F1 W08 Hybrid n.44 won the Formula 1 World Championship in 2017, for the British rider he was the fourth driver title. The championship was marked by the challenge between Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel’s Ferrari SF70H. The German driver at the head of the world mid-season had technical problems that forced him to retire for three consecutive races, the English take advantage by overtaking the driver Ferrari in the standings and win the world title with two races in advance. Mercedes won its fourth constructors title.
