HISTORY
The BMW M Hybrid V8 is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025. The car is a Hypercar of type LMDh and was designed by Dallara for BMW.
The Belgian BMW M Team WRT team with Dries Vanthoor, Raffaele Marciello and Kevin Magnussen at the wheel of the BMW M Hybrid V8 n.15 finished thirty-first in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025 with a gap of twenty-six laps to winner.
The race was won by Ferrari 499P n.83 with Robert Kubica, Philip Hanson and Yifei Ye. In second place the Porsche 963 LMDh n.6 Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and Matt Campbell with a gap of fourteen seconds, while in third position James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi at the wheel of the Ferrari 499P n.51 with a gap of twenty-eight seconds.
