HISTORY

The Chevrolet Corvette DP is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2014. Corvette Daytona Prototype was developed by a multi-faceted effort involving Chevrolet, Corvette Designers, Pratt & Miller and GRAND-AM. Chevrolet also worked closely with chassis builders Riley, Coyote and Dallara.
The American Action Express Racing team with João Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi and Sébastien Bourdais at the wheel of the Chevrolet Corvette DP n.5 winner the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2014.

In second place the Chevrolette – Corvette DP n.10 of Wayne Taylor Racing team with Ricky Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Max Angelelli with a gap of one second, while in third position the Chevrolette – Corvette DP n.9 of Action Express Racing team with Fabien Giroix, Brian Frisselle, Burt Friselle and John Martin with a gap of twenty seconds.
