HISTORY

The Courage C36 – Porsche is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1996.

The French Courage Competition Team with Philippe Alliot, Jerome Policand and Didier Cottaz at the wheel of the Courage C36 – Porsche n.3 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1996 due to accident after two hundred fifteen laps.

The race was won by Manuel Reuter, Davy Jones and Alexander Wurz at the wheel of the TWR-Porsche WSC-95 n.7, in second the Porsche 911 GT1 n.25 with Hans-Joachim Stuck, Bob Wollek and Thierry Boutsen with a gap of one lap while in third position the Porsche 911 GT1 n.26 with Karl Wendlinger, Yannick Dalmas and Scott Goodyear with a gap of thirteen laps.
