HISTORY
The Courage C36 – Porsche is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1996.
The French Le Filière Elf Team with Henri Pescarolo, Emmanuel Collard and Franck Lagorce at the wheel of the Courage C36 – Porsche n.5 finished seventh at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1996 with a gap of twenty-seven laps to winner.
The race was won by Manuel Reuter, Davy Jones and Alexander Wurz at the wheel of the TWR-Porsche WSC-95 n.7, in second the Porsche 911 GT1 n.25 with Hans-Joachim Stuck, Bob Wollek and Thierry Boutsen with a gap of one lap while in third position the Porsche 911 GT1 n.26 with Karl Wendlinger, Yannick Dalmas and Scott Goodyear with a gap of thirteen laps.
