HISTORY

The Ferrari 312T is the winning car of the Formula 1 World Championship in 1975. The Maranello team was eleven years old that did not win the world championship, the new car designed by the engineer Mauro Forghieri was very innovative, the main feature was the transverse change with which the set-up of the car was greatly improved.

Niki Lauda with the Ferrari 312T n.12 won the Formula 1 World Championship in 1975, for the Austrian rider was the first world title. The season was a duel between Lauda and Emerson Fittipaldi with McLaren M23, even if the Austrian driver after a stunted start, put a streak of victories that allowed him to take the lead in the standings and keep it until the end. During the season Lauda won five Grand Prix: Monaco, Belgium, Sweden, France and the United States. Ferrari also thanks to team mate Clay Regazzoni also won the constructors’ title.
