The race won by Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish and Rinaldo Capello at the wheel of the Audi R10 TDI n.2. In second place the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n.7 with Nicolas Minassian, Marc Gene, Jacques Villeneuve with a gap of four minutes, while in third position the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n.8 with Christian Klein, Franck Montagny and Ricardo Zonta with a gap of two laps.
