HISTORY

Ken Miles and Denny Hulme at the wheel of the Ford GT40 MKII n.1 they arrivederci second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1966, behind at the Ford n.2

The arrival of the American cars in the parade created strong discontent, in fact, despite the fact that the American driver crossed the finish line first, the victory was given to the duo McLaren and Amon because by regulation they had started a few meters back then had traveled more kilometers.
