HISTORY

The Lister Storm GTL – Jaguar is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997.

The English Newcastle United Lister Team with Geoff Lees, George Fouche and Tiff Needell at the wheel of the Lister Storm GTL – Jaguar n.45 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1997 due to accident after twenty-one laps.
The winner race was the TWR Porsche WSC n.7 of Michele Alboreto, Stafan Johansson and Tom Kristensen. second the McLaren F1 GTR-BMW n.41 with Pierre-Henri Raphanel, Anders Olofsson, Jean-Marc Gounon while third the McLaren F1 GTR-BMW n.43 with Eric Helary, Peter Kox, Roberto Ravaglia.
