HISTORY

The McLaren – Honda MP4/7 is the car with which the McLaren team participated in the 1992 F1 World Championship. The MP4/7 was designed by Neil Oatley, compared to the McLaren MP4/6, the main differences were the greater use of electronic components such as the electronically controlled wireless throttle. Despite the power of the engine, the car proved inferior to the revolutionary Williams FW14B that won the world championship with Nigel Mansell.
