The French Jean Egreteaud team with Jean Egreteaud and Jean-Claude Lagniez at the wheel of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR n.49 did not finish the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1973 due to broken transmission after one hundred forty laps. The race was won by Matra Simca MS670B n.11 with Henri Pescarolo and Gerard Larrousse.
