HISTORY

The Porsche 956B is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1985. After the victory with the Porsche 956B n.7 of the 1984 team Joest, it was faced the official team of Stuttgart that sitted the new Porsche 962C demonstrating its test power occupying the first row with the best time of Stuck.

The German New Man Joest Racing team with Klaus Ludwig, Paolo Barilla and John Winter won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1985 with the Porsche 956B n.7, in second place the Porsche 956 GTI n.14 of the team Richard Lloyd Racing with a gap of three laps lost during the night in the pits due to problems electric, only third the new 962C n.2 of the official Porsche team with Bell and Stuck that due to the limitations in fuel consumption could not express their greater speed.
