HISTORY
The Riley MKXI – BMW is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2011. The car was designed by Riley Technologies for the regulations of the IMSA GTP.
The American Telmex Chip Ganassi Racing team with Joey Hand, Graham Rahal, Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas at the wheel of the Riley MKXI – BMW n.01 winner the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2011.
In second place the Riley MKXI – BMW n.02 of Telmex Chip Ganassi Racing team with Juan Pablo Montoya, Dario Franchitti, Jamie McMurray and Scott Dixon with a gap of two laps, while in third position the Riley MKXI – Porsche n.9 of Action Express Racing team with João Barbosa, Terry Borcheller, Max Papis and Christian Fittipaldi with a gap of few seconds.
