HISTORY
The Riley MKXI – Lexus is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2008. The car was designed by Riley Technologies for the regulations of the IMSA GTP.
The American Telmex Ganassi Racing team with Juan Pablo Montoya, Dario Franchitti, Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas at the wheel of the Riley MKXI – Lexus n.01 winner the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2008.
In second place the Riley MKXI – Pontiac n.99 of GAINSCO Bob Stallings racing team with Jon Fogarty, Alex Gurney, Jimmy Vasser and Jimmie Johnson with a gap of two laps, while in third position the Riley MKXI – Pontiac n.9 of Penske Taylor Racing team with Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe and Kurt Busch with a gap of six laps.
