HISTORY
The Riley MKXI – Pontiac is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2005. The car was designed by Riley Technologies for the regulations of the IMSA GTP.
The American SunTrust Racing team with Max Angelelli, Wayne Taylor and Emmanuel Collard at the wheel of the Riley MKXI – Pontiac n.10 winner the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2005.
In second place the Crawford DP03 – Pontiac n.4 of Howard-Boss Motorsport team with Butch Leitzinger, Elliot Forbes-Robinson and Jimmie Johnson with a gap of eleven laps, while in third position the Crawford DP03 – Pontiac n.20 of Howard-Boss Motorsport team with Andy Wallace, Jan Lammers and Tony Stewart with a gap of eleven laps.
