HISTORY
The Alba AR2 – Giannini is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1984. The Italian Scuderia Jolly Club team with Almo Coppelli, Davide Pavia and Guido Dacco at the wheel of the Alba AR2 – Giannini n.81 finished nineteenth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1984, with a gap of ninety-eight laps. The winner the race was Porsche 956B n.7 with Klaus Ludwig and Henry Pescarolo, in second place the Porsche 956 n.26 with Jean Rondeau and John Paul jr, while in third position the Porsche 956B n.33 with David Hobbs, Philippe Streiff and Sarel Van Der Merwe.
