The race was won by Matra Simca MS670B n.11 with Henri Pescarolo and Gerard Larrousse. In second place finished the Ferrari 312 PB-73 n.16 of with Arturio Merzario and Carlos Pace with a gap of six laps, while in third position the Matra Simca MS670B n.12 with driver Jean-Pierre Jabouille and Jean-Pierre Jaussaud with twenty-four laps of gap to winner.
