HISTORY
The Aston Martin DBR1/300 is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960. The car was designed by Ted Cutting in 1956, in the first years of the race had many difficulties in reliability, but in 1959 the British manufacturer obtained the his revenge.
The British Border Reivers team with Jim Clark and Roy Salvadori at the wheel of the Aston Martin DBR1/300 n.7 finished third in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1960 with a gap of eight laps to winner.
The race was won by Olivier Gendebien and Paul Frere at the wheel of the Ferrari 250 TR59/60 n.11, in second place the Ferrari 250 TR59 n.17 with Ricardo Rodriguez and Andre Pilette with a gap of four laps.
