HISTORY
The Bizzarrini P538 Sport – Chevrolet is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1966. The car was designed by Giotto Bizzarrini.
The Italian Prototip Bizzarrini SAL team with Edgar Berney and Andre Wicky at the wheel of the Bizzarrini P538 Sport – Chevrolet n.10 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1966 due to broken the steering arm after eight laps. The race was won by Ford MKII n.2 with Chris Amon and Bruce McLaren, in second place the Ford MKII n.1 with Ken Miles and Denny Hulme, while Ford MKII n.5 with Ronnie Bucknum and Dick Hutcherson.
