HISTORY
The Brabham – Climax BT7 is a car that participated in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1964. The car was designed by Ron Tauranac. This is the first Brabham’s car in Formula 1.
The British Brabham Racing Organisation team with Jack Brabham at the wheel of the Brabham – Climax BT7 finished eighth in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1964 with eleven points in the season with best result the third place at the Belgium and France Grand Prix, while Dan Gurney at the wheel of the Brabham – Climax BT7 finished sixth in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1964 with nineteen points in the season with best result two victories at the France and Mexico Grand Prix.
The 1963 world championship was won by Jim Clark with the Lotus – Climax 25
