HISTORY
The Dome S101 – Mugen is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2004. The car was designed by Akiyoshi Oku.
The Japanese Kondo Racing team with Hiroki Katoh, Ryo Fukuda and Ryo Michigami at the wheel of the Dome S101 – Mugen n.9 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2004 due to broken engine after two hundred six laps. The race was won by Audi of the team, Sport Team Goh with Seiji Ara, Rinaldo Capello and Tom Kristensen with the Audi R8 n.5, Audi Sport UK Team Veloqx team with Johnny Herbert, Jamie Davies and Guy Smith at the wheel of the Audi R8 n.88 finished second with a gap of forty-one seconds, while in third place at eleven laps of the ADT Champion Racing J.J.Lehto, Marco Werner and Emanuele Pirro.
