HISTORY

The Ferrari 512 S is a car that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1970. The car was designed by Mauro Forghieri.

The Swiss Scuderia Filipinetti team with Mike Parkes and Herbert Muller at the wheel of the Ferrari 512 S n.15 did not finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1970 due to accident after thirty-seven laps.
The race was won by the Porsche 917 K n.23 of Hermann Hans and Richard Attwood, in second place the Porsche 917 K LH n.3 with Gerard Larrousse, Willi Kauhsen, while in third position the Porsche 908/2 LH with Helmut Marko, Rudi Lins.
