HISTORY
The Ford C100 – Cosworth is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982.
The German Ford Werke AG team with Manfred Winkelhock and Klaus Niedzwiedz at the wheel of the Ford C100 – Cosworth n.7 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982 due to electric problem after seventy-one laps. The winner the race was Porsche 956 n.1 with Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, in second place Porsche 956 n.2 with Jochen Mass and Vern Schuppan, while in third position the Porsche 956 n.3 with Al Holbert, Hurley Haywood and Jurgen Barth.
