HISTORY
The Grid Plaza S1 – Cosworth is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982.
The British Grid Racing team with Emilio De Villota, Desire Wilson and Alain De Cadenet at the wheel of the Grid Plaza S1 – Cosworth n.37 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982 due to broken engine after seven laps. The winner the race was Porsche 956 n.1 with Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, in second place Porsche 956 n.2 with Jochen Mass and Vern Schuppan, while in third position the Porsche 956 n.3 with Al Holbert, Hurley Haywood and Jurgen Barth.
