HISTORY
The Jaguar C-Type is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1952.
The British Jaguar LTD team with Peter Whitehead and Ian Stewart at the wheel of the Jaguar C-Type n.19 did not finish in the 24 hours of Le Mans 1952, due to broken engine after eighteen laps.
The race was won by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL n.21 with Hermann Lang and Fritz Riess and the second place of the twin car n.20 of Theo Helfrich and Helmut Niedermayr with a gap of one lap, while in third position the Nash-Healey 4 Litre n.10 with Leslie Johnson and Tommy Wisdom.
