HISTORY

The Lancia LC1 is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982. The car was designed by Gianni Tonti and Lancia reparto corse.
The Italian Martini Racing team with Riccardo Patrese, Hans Heyer and Piercarlo Ghinzani at the wheel of the Lancia LC1 n.50 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1982, due to electric problem after one hundred and fifty-two laps. The winner the race was Porsche 956 n.1 with Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, in second place Porsche 956 n.2 with Jochen Mass and Vern Schuppan, while in third position the Porsche 956 n.3 with Al Holbert, Hurley Haywood and Jurgen Barth.
