HISTORY
The Lola T70 MKIII – Chevrolet is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1968. The car was designed by Eric Broadley and Tony Southgate.
The British Jackie Epstein with Jackie Epstein and Ed Nelson at the wheel of the Lola T70 MKIII – Chevrolet n.6 did not finish at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1968 due to broken transmission after one hundred forty-three laps.
The race was won by Pedro Rodriguez and Lucien Bianchi at the wheel of the Ford GT40 n.9 of the Team John Wyer Automotive Engineering, in second place the Porsche 907 LH n.66 with Rico Steineman and Dieter Spoerry while in third place Porsche 908 n.33 of Rolf Stommelen and Jochen Neerpasch of the official team.
