HISTORY

The Monopole X84 – Panhard is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1952.

The French Automobiles Panhard et Levassor team with Jacques Savoye and Raymond Lienard at the wheel of the Monopole X84 – Panhard n.59 did not finish in the 24 hours of Le Mans 1952, due to broken engine after sixty-eight laps.
The race was won by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL n.21 with Hermann Lang and Fritz Riess and the second place of the twin car n.20 of Theo Helfrich and Helmut Niedermayr with a gap of one lap, while in third position the Nash-Healey 4 Litre n.10 with Leslie Johnson and Tommy Wisdom.
