HISTORY

The Morgan Plus 4-Standard is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1952.

The British Robert Lawrie team with Robert Lawrie and John Isherwood at the wheel of the Morgan Plus 4-Standard n.35 did not finish at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1952, due to broken water pump after fourteen laps.
The race was won by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL n.21 with Hermann Lang and Fritz Riess and the second place of the twin car n.20 of Theo Helfrich and Helmut Niedermayr with a gap of one lap, while in third position the Nash-Healey 4 Litre n.10 with Leslie Johnson and Tommy Wisdom.
