HISTORY

The Nimrod NRA/C2B – Aston Martin is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1984. The British Viscount Downe team with Ray Mallock and Drake Olson at the wheel of the Nimrod NRA/C2B – Aston Martin n.31 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1984, due to accident after ninety-four laps. The winner the race was Porsche 956B n.7 with Klaus Ludwig and Henry Pescarolo, in second place the Porsche 956 n.26 with Jean Rondeau and John Paul jr, while in third position the Porsche 956B n.33 with David Hobbs, Philippe Streiff and Sarel Van Der Merwe.
