HISTORY

The Spanish Alex Soler-Roig team with Alex Soler-Roig and Rudi Lins at the wheel of the Porsche 907/8 n.35 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1968 due to oil leak of camshaft after one hundred forty-five laps. The race was won by Pedro Rodriguez and Lucien Bianchi at the wheel of the Ford GT40 n.9 of the Team John Wyer Automotive Engineering, while in third place Porsche 908 n.33 of Rolf Stommelen and Jochen Neerpasch of the official team.
