The French Philippe Farjon team with Robert Buchet and Herbert Linge at the wheel of the Porsche 907/8 n.67 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1968 due to replaced starter motor after one hundred two laps. The race was won by Pedro Rodriguez and Lucien Bianchi at the wheel of the Ford GT40 n.9 of the Team John Wyer Automotive Engineering, while in third place Porsche 908 n.33 of Rolf Stommelen and Jochen Neerpasch of the official team.
