HISTORY
The Porsche 910 is a car that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1968. The car is a developed of the Porsche 906. Carried over from the 906 was the spaceframe chassis but with revised suspension geometry to accommodate 13-inch magnesium wheels.
The French Jean-Pierre Hanrioud team with Jean-Pierre Hanrioud and Andre Wicky at the wheel of the Porsche 910 n.45 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1968 due to valve rocker arm problem after two hundred forty-eight laps.
The race was won by the Ford GT40 n.9 of Pedro Rodriguez and Lucien Bianchi, in second place the Porsche 907 LH n.66 with Rico Steineman and Dieter Spoerry, while in third position the Porsche 908 LH n.33 with Rolf Stommelen and Jochen Neerpasch.
