HISTORY

The German Porsche Kremer Racing team with John Fitzpatrick and Erwin Kremer at the wheel of the Porsche 911 S n.80 did not finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1972 due broken engine after thirty-nine laps. The race was won by Matra Simca MS670 n.15 of Henry Pescarolo and Graham Hill. Second the Matra Simca MS670 n.14 with Francois Cevert and Howden Ganley, while in third position the Porsche 908 LH Coupe n.60 with Reinhold Joest, Michel Weber, Mario Casoni.
