HISTORY

The French Claude Laurent team with Claude Laurent and Jean-Claude Ogier at the wheel of the Porsche 911 T n.64 finished thirteenth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1968 with a gap of fifty-five laps to winner and second in the GT-2000 Class. The race was won by Pedro Rodriguez and Lucien Bianchi at the wheel of the Ford GT40 n.9 of the Team John Wyer Automotive Engineering, in second place the Porsche 907 LH n.66 with Rico Steineman and Dieter Spoerry while in third place Porsche 908 n.33 of Rolf Stommelen and Jochen Neerpasch of the official team.
