HISTORY
The Porsche 935 K2 is a car that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1977. The German Porsche Kremer Racing team with John Fitzpatrick, Nick Faure and Guy Edwards at the wheel of the Porsche 935 K2 n.42 did not finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1977, due turbocharger oil seal problem after fifteen laps. The winner the race was the Porsche 936-77 with Jurgen Barth, Hurley Haywood and Jacky Ickx. In second place with a gap of eleven laps came the Mirage GR8 n.10 of Schuppan and Jarier, while in third place the Porsche 935 n.40 of Ballot-Lena and Gregg at twenty seven laps.
