The race was won by Sauber – Mercedes-Benz C9 n.63 with Jochen Mass, Manuel Reuter, Stanley Dickens, while in second place the Sauber – Mercedes-Benz C9 n.61 with Mauro Baldi, Kenneth Acheson and Gianfranco Brancatelli.
