HISTORY

The Sauber SHS C6 – Cosworth is a prototype that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982.

The German BASF Cassetten Team GS Sport team with Hans-Joachim Stuck, Jean-Louis Schlesser and Dieter Quester at the wheel of the Sauber SHS C6 – Cosworth n.20 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1982 due to broken engine after seventy-six laps. The winner the race was Porsche 956 n.1 with Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, in second place Porsche 956 n.2 with Jochen Mass and Vern Schuppan, while in third position the Porsche 956 n.3 with Al Holbert, Hurley Haywood and Jurgen Barth.
