HISTORY

The Serenissima Spyder is a car that participated at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1966. The Italian Scuderia San Marco team with drivers Jean-Claude Sauer and Jean De Mortemart at the wheel of Serenissima Spyder n.24 did not finish at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1966 due to broken gearbox after forty laps.

The race was won by Ford MKII n.2 with Chris Amon and Bruce McLaren, in second place the Ford MKII n.1 with Ken Miles and Denny Hulme, while Ford MKII n.5 with Ronnie Bucknum and Dick Hutcherson.
