HISTORY

The Spice SE89C – Cosworth is a prototype that participated at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1992. The was designed by Graham Humphrey.

The British Chamberlain Engineering team with Richard Piper, Olindo Iacobelli and Ferdinand De Lesseps at the wheel of the Spice SE89C – Cosworth n.22 fourteenth in the 24 hours of Le Mans 1992 with a gap of ninety-four laps to winner.

The race won by Peugeot 905 n.1 with Mark Blundell, Yannik Dalmas and David Warwick, Masanori Sekiya, Pierre-Henry Raphanel and Kenneth Acheson with the Toyota TS010 n.33 finished in second place while in third place the other Peugeot 905 n.2 with Mauro Baldi, Philippe Alliot and Jean-Pierre Jabouille.
