HISTORY

The Aurus 01 – Gibson is the prototype of the LMP2 class at the 24 hours of Le Mans 2019. The Russian G-Drive Racing team with Roman Rusinov, Jean-Eric Vergne and Job Van Uitert at the wheel of the Aurus 01 – Gibson n.26 they arrived sixth in the class LMP2 at the 24 hours of Le Mans 2019, with a four laps from the Alpine A470 – Gibson n.36 of Nicolas Lapierre, Andre Negrao, Pierre Thiriet winners of the LMP2 and twenty-one laps from the race-winning Toyota TS050 n.8.
