HISTORY

The BMW 3.0 CSL is a car that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1975. The French team of Herve Poulain with Sam Posey, Herve Poulain and Jean Guichet at the wheel of the BMW 3.0 CSL n.93 did not finish in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1975, due to the breaking of the transmission after completing seventy-three laps. The winner the race was Gulf-Mirage M8 – Cosworth n.11 with Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, in second place the Ligier JS-2 – Cosworth n.5 with Jean-Louis Lafosse, Guy Chasseuil, while in third position the Gulf-Mirage M8 – Cosworth n.10 with Vern Schuppan, Jean-Pierre Jaussaud.
