HISTORY

The Ferrari F2003-GA is the car used by Ferrari for the 2003 season of the Formula 1 Championship. The car was designed by the duo Rory Byrne and Ross Brawn, and is based on the development of the previous Ferrari F2002.
The initials Ferrari F1 F2003-GA differs from the usual acronyms for the addition of the syllable “GA” whose meaning is the dedication to the lawyer Gianni Agnelli, who died in January 2003.

The Italian Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro team with Rubens Barrichello at the wheel of the Ferrari F2003-GA n.2 finished fourth in the Formula 1 World Championship 2003. The Brazilian driver achieved in season two victories in the Great Britain Gran Prix and Japan Grand Prix

Together with team mate Michael Schumacher they brought the Ferrari team to first place in the constructors’ championship.
