HISTORY

The English Mrs.P. de Travelyan Team with Harold Aldington and Norman Culpan at the wheel of the Frazer Nash High-Speed n.26 finished third at the 24 hours of Le Mans 1949, with a gap of eleven laps. The race won by Ferrari 166 MM n.22 with Luigi Chinetti and Peter Mitchell-Thomson. In second place the Delage n.15 led by Henry Louveau and Juan Jover came second with a gap of one lap.
