HISTORY
The Kremer K8 – Porsche is a prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997.
The German Porsche Kremer Racing Team with Tomas Saldana, Carl Rosenblad and Jurgen Lassig at the wheel of the Kremer K8 – Porsche n.5 did not finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1997 due to broken engine after one hundred three laps.
The winner race was the TWR Porsche WSC n.7 of Michele Alboreto, Stafan Johansson and Tom Kristensen. second the McLaren F1 GTR-BMW n.41 with Pierre-Henri Raphanel, Anders Olofsson, Jean-Marc Gounon while third the McLaren F1 GTR-BMW n.43 with Eric Helary, Peter Kox, Roberto Ravaglia.
