HISTORY

The Ligier – Renault JS27 is a single-seater that participated in the 1986 Formula 1 World Championship. Designed by Michel Tétu and Michel Beaujon, the car was equipped with a very fast but high consumption Renault turbo engine.

René Arnoux with the Ligier – Renault JS27 n.25 arrived tenth in the 1986 Formula 1 World Championship with fourteen points in season. The French driver finished points six times but never managed to get on the podium by touching him three times. Together with his teammate Jacques Laffitte they took Ligier to fifth place in the constructors’ title.
