The Porsche 962C is prototype that participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988. The Swiss Repsol Brun Motorsport team with Jesus Pareja, Uwe Schafer and Massimo Sigala at the wheel of the Porsche 962C n.5 finished seventh at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988 with a gap of twenty-two laps to Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries and Andy Wallace winners with the Jaguar XJR-9 LM n.2, the Dutch driver managed to cross the line first even in the last half hour of the race he drove without the third gear. In second place the Porsche 962C n.17 whit Derek Bell, Hans Joachim Stuck and Klaus Ludwig, while in third place came the Porsche 962C n.8 of Frank Jelinski, Stanley Dickens and John Winter.
